Two long-time MA friends are among the many facing some trouble for covering the Education Day of Action on March 4th.
Indybay reporter Mark Burdett is facing charges for covering the freeway protest and asks folks to send a note to the Oakland District Attorney's Office asking them to drop obstruction and unlawful assembly charges:
Nancy E. O'Malley, District Attorney 1225 Fallon St, Room 900 Oakland CA 94612-4208 Phone: (510) 272-6222 Fax: (510) 271-5157
And Josh Wolf, who many remember served 226 days in prison for refusing to hand over tapes he made at an anti-G8 protest in San Francisco in 2005, is facing a suspension from the Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism (he's a first year student) for covering the occupation of Wheeler Hall.
