Poets and Writers, the nation's largest nonprofit organization serving creative writers, invites California writers to apply for the 2013 California Writers Exchange Award. Poets and writers who are residents of California and have never published a book or have published only one full-length book in the genre they are entering, are eligible. The winning poet and fictionw writer will each receive a $500 honorarium and an all expenses paid trip to New York City to meet with top literary professionals. While in NY, the winners will also have a public reading, sponsored by Poets and Writers.
