This historic poll of voters was conducted in six languages and dialects: English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese, and was funded in part by The Institute of Governmental Studies of UC Berkeley, and New America Media with a grant from the Blue Shield of California Foundation. The survey was completed among 1,183 California registered voters September 6-18, 2012 by landline and cell phone. The overall statewide registered voter sample was supplemented to include additional interviews among Chinese-American, Korean-American and Vietnamese- American voters to enable these voter subgroups to be compared to those of other racial/ethnic voter populations. The poll includes a question on how voters view «illegal immigration.»
