This is the second of two historic poll of voters conducted in six languages and dialects: English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean and Vietnamese, and was funded in part by The Institute of Governmental Studies of UCBerkeley, and New America Media with a grant from the Blue Shield of California Foundation.
The survey was completed among California registered voters in late October 2012 by landline and cell phone.
The overall statewide registered voter sample was supplemented to include additional interviews among Chinese-American, Korean-American and Vietnamese-American voters to enable these voter subgroups to be compared to those of other racial/ethnic voter populations.
