Community Dialogue: What Women Want

Siren welcomes all Bay Area Women to be part of an Information Session and Community Dialogue that will give shape to Siren's all women arts, wellness and educational programs and events throughout 2013. Agenda: Siren will be presenting a draft of 2013 programming and initiate a community dialogue around the the needs of women in the Bay Area. Siren's 2013 Road Map includes: Learning, Creativity and Wellness Programs Lyrical & Immersion Theater and Experiential Events Siren Membership & Partner Programs Siren will also share information and answer questions on how you can get engaged with us, as a Core Team member, Program Lead and so on, for women who want to play a leadership role in the community in 2013. In addition to our signature "Siren Creativity Program" leading to Lyrical Play (May 2013) and Immersion Theatre (September 2013), SIREN will also be launching "Siren Wellness Program" and "Siren Learning Program" collaborating with individuals, groups and organizations who want to teach classes, present workshops and produce unique experiences (example ceremony, murder mystery nights, fashion ramps etc.) related to arts, creativity, learning, activism, healing and wellness. We also aim to launch "Siren Membership Program" for women who want to engage with and support Siren Project on a regular basis in exchange of sweet perks. A very special "Siren Partnership Program" for women who have businesses and organizations in alignment with Siren's mission is also in the making to provide visibility and collaboration. Siren Project is an All Women volunteer based collective in Oakland with the mission of “Raising Collective Consciousness by Creating Communities of Wellness”. Fiscally sponsored by The Art Association of the East Bay, Inc. (AAEB), a public benefit non-profit corporation, Siren welcomes self identified women of all age, ancestry, identity and ability to create, engage and experience art, wellness and educational programs and events that inspires us to be our best. FREE. Snacks and Drinks will be served. Donations welcome. All contributions are tax deductible.
