The gigantic debt was caused by oil wars, tax breaks for corporations and the rich, reckless speculation by financial institutions, and bailouts to the same institutions, but Republicans and Democrats alike want to cut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. Seniors, people with disability, children or spouses of someone who died, and low-income workers earned these benefits, and we must NOT let this robbery take place. We need jobs, not austerity. Come to this Town Hall meeting, learn more about what’s happening and what to do. Free. Wheelchair accessible.
