Ryan Craig is the Managing Director of University Ventures. Ryan headed the Education &
Training sector at Warburg Pincus from 2001 – 2004. Ryan has advised the U.S. Department of
Education and served as VP Strategic Development for Fathom, the Columbia University online
education company, from 1999 - 2001.
Jialu Chen is an analyst at Learn Capital where she evaluates seed stage investment
opportunities in ways to improve learning. She previously was a researcher for Mother Jones
Magazine. @LearnCap
Eli Luberoff is the CEO of Desmos, an education startup that provides the first platform-agnostic
software for building and sharing rich educational content, bridging the gap between different
classrooms, and between the classroom and the home. Desmos is backed by Google Ventures,
Mitch Kapor, and Learn Capital. @eluberoff
Jamila Amarshi, Director of Operations for Clever, an education startup that syncs data from a school's information system (SIS) into all of the different programs students use. Over 50 companies and 2,000 schools rely on Clever to make their classroom software "just work." @jamarshi
