oin The Night Writer Society on March 15, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM for an evening seminar on what goes into designing a book, how extraordinary books are made, and how to craft inspiring books. Eli Horowitz will discuss how he came up with a book in the form of a deck of cards, containing a comb, and even a Z-shaped book. Rhiannon Alpers of San Francisco Center for the Book will discuss bookmaking from a fine art and craft standpoint, and talk about how you can make books on your own. The event will end with a Q & A, when you'll have the opportunity to pick these book experts' brains. All proceeds benefit 826 Valencia.
