Angela will offer her insights into how California’s cutting-edge climate policies hold the potential to redefine our communities as centers of equity as well as economic and environmental health. Climate change is real – and California’s greenhouse gas reduction policies offer a real opportunity to tackle not just the climate crisis, but also the equity crisis. Too few people have access to healthy and affordable communities with real transportation choices. But we can leverage policies like cap-and-trade to create a climate for equity where every community has the resources to achieve prosperity, health, and sustainability.
