Agencies will provide recommendations to prevent future fires and harmful air emissions at chemical processing facilities as well as to improve monitoring systems and emergency response plans. In attendance will be Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia, Richmond City Manager Bill Lindsay and representatives from the U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health the Bay Area Air Quality Management District and the Contra Costa Environmental Health Division and Hazardous Materials Program.
