Globale Rio 2013: Call for Entries

globale is a festival that proposes, through the exhibition of films and documentary moments of constructing a broad public debate on issues related to globalization processes. It is a festival nonprofit, non-competitive and, therefore, does not deliver prizes or charge registration fees. globale was born in Berlin (Germany) in 2003, and is still performed today for the purpose, including the headquarters of the festival follow multiplying, so as to create a network. Currently, globale happens in three German cities, in Montevideo (Uruguay), since 2009, and also in Warsaw (Poland) since 2010. In 2011, the festival came to Bogota (Colombia) and Rio de Janeiro. The organizing committees in each host city are composed of a heterogeneous group of people who work in solidarity in organizing the festival. The group has a horizontal management and commitment to make its decisions by consensus.
