This class will introduce you to the world of non-linear, or computer-based editing. We will show you how digital editing is different from traditional tape-to-tape or linear editing, and familiarize you with some useful concepts and terminology. You will learn different editing styles, and everything you need to know to edit your production in Final Cut Pro. This Macintosh-based program is a fully basics platform, from capturing video to exporting your finished product to tape. This class is required to use our edit suite, even if you already use an NLE, as you will need to learn our media management system.
