The Northern California Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists is looking for nominees for the 2009 Excellence in Journalism Awards contest. SPJ is in search of writers who have produced more traditional work such as breaking news, feature writing, and photojournalism as well as work by those who are using creativity to reinvent the approach and industry of journalism. This event also offers boot camps to help jump start ambitious, young journalists. Boot camps require preregistration, as space is limited to 16.
