CDP is a competitive grants program of the California Council for the Humanities in partnership with the Skirball Foundation. CDP supports humanities-based film, radio, and new media projects that document the California experience and explore issues of significance to Californians. Production grants range from $20,000 to $50,000. Research and development grants are as much as $7,000. Proposals are submitted online.
