Since 1976, OSCAR-nominated, EMMY-winning filmmaker Dorothy Fadiman has been on a remarkable journey, producing twenty documentary films. On September 9th, we will see clips from her work and hear about her journey into film making. The films explore many subjects, from the luminous Spirit in every faith (RADIANCE) to progressive education (WHY DO THESE KIDS LOVE SCHOOL?) to the exceptional progress of a woman with a spinal chord injury (MOMENT by MOMENT) plus films focusing on women's issues: WOMEN by WOMEN: Hope for the Villages of India, From RISK to ACTION: Women and HIV/AIDS in Ethiopia, and a trilogy: FROM the BACK ALLEYS to the SUPREME COURT & BEYOND.
