On Sat. March 20, students, teachers and parents will take to the streets, joining with thousands of others, to demand Money for Education--Not Wars and Bank Bailouts, and end to the wars and occupations in Afghanistan, Iraq, Palestine, Haiti and everywhere. All around the country thousands of education workers are losing their jobs, classroom sizes are increasing, college costs are skyrocketing and classes are disappearing. UC tuition has been raised an outrageous 32%! If this stands, tens of thousands of California students will be denied the right to higher education. Especially hard hit are African American, Latino and all working class communities.
