I'm a contributor to Street Sheet, Street Spirit and Poor Magazine, among other publications. I have received training at the aforementioned publications, as well as the Raising Our Voices writing workshops at Media Alliance and the journalism program at City College of San Francisco.
Most of my published articles have a social justice bent, be it on housing, poverty or health care.
I'm also a copy editor, well versed in AP style. I have won awards at the Journalism Association of Community Colleges.
